Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms govern the use of the mobile application Nina (the "App") and related services (the "Service") provided by Hyeon Tae Kim (the "Operator"), including conditions of use, procedures, and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Operator and users.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means all features within the App, including AI-powered meal logging, nutrition analysis, and calorie and macronutrient tracking.
- "User" means any member or non-member who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
- "Member" means a user who creates an account through social login providers such as Kakao, Google, or Apple.
- "Content" means any information entered, uploaded, or generated by a user in the Service, including meal logs, photos, and profile information.
Article 3 (Effectiveness and Changes)
- These Terms take effect when posted on the Service or otherwise announced.
- The Operator may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. Changes will be announced at least 7 days before the effective date (30 days in advance if unfavorable to users).
- Continued use of the Service after the effective date of amended Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
Article 4 (Registration and Accounts)
- Registration is completed through social login. Users must agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
- Users must provide accurate information and must not impersonate others.
- Users under 14 years of age may be restricted from registering or using the Service.
- Users are responsible for managing their accounts and for unauthorized use of their accounts.
Article 5 (Provision of the Service)
The Operator provides the following services:
- Food photo capture/upload and AI-based nutrition analysis
- Creating, viewing, editing, and deleting meal logs
- Daily calorie and macronutrient tracking and goal setting
- Food search and nutrition lookup
- Other supplementary features determined by the Operator
The Operator may modify or suspend all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons. Material changes or suspensions will be announced in advance when possible; urgent cases may be announced afterward.
Article 6 (Service Hours)
The Service is intended to be available 24 hours a day, year-round. It may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, outages, natural disasters, or other unavoidable circumstances.
Article 7 (User Obligations)
Users must not:
- Misuse or steal another person's personal information or account
- Interfere with normal operation of the Service or gain unauthorized access to systems
- Infringe intellectual property, reputation, privacy, or other rights of the Operator or third parties
- Upload content that violates applicable laws, including obscene, violent, discriminatory, or illegal material
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or excessively access the Service through automated means
- Otherwise violate applicable laws or these Terms
Article 8 (AI Analysis Notice)
AI nutrition analysis in this Service is provided for informational purposes only and does not replace medical diagnosis, treatment, or prescription.
The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy of AI analysis results. Important health and nutrition decisions should be made in consultation with qualified professionals. Users are responsible for judgments related to allergies, medical conditions, and personal health status.
Article 9 (Content Rights)
- Copyright in content uploaded by users belongs to the users.
- Users agree that the Operator may store, process, and display content as necessary to provide, improve, and perform AI analysis for the Service.
- Rights to the Service UI, design, logos, software, and other assets provided by the Operator belong to the Operator.
Article 10 (Restrictions and Termination)
- The Operator may restrict or suspend use after notice if a user violates these Terms or disrupts operation of the Service. In urgent cases, notice may be given afterward.
- Users may request account deletion (termination) at any time through in-app settings or by contacting the Operator.
- Upon deletion, personal information is handled in accordance with applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
Article 11 (Disclaimer)
- The Operator is not liable for interruption or damage caused by force majeure, including natural disasters, war, communication failures, or third-party service outages.
- The Operator is not liable for service issues caused by the user's fault.
- The Operator does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of AI analysis results and limits liability for damages arising from reliance on such results to the extent permitted by law.
- For free services, the Operator bears no liability for damages unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Article 12 (Damages)
If a user violates these Terms and causes damage to the Operator, the user shall compensate the Operator for such damage.
Article 13 (Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction)
- Disputes between the Operator and users shall first be resolved through mutual consultation.
- If consultation fails, the laws of the Republic of Korea shall apply, and disputes may be brought before courts with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.

Supplementary Provisions
These Terms take effect on June 23, 2026.
